There are two categories of Power Line Crossings in HORC project.
- Power Line Crossings upto 33 kV which shall be undergrounded.
- Power Line Crossings above 33 kV (EHT Crossings) which shall be checked for infringement with respect to HORC Rail
Tracks and shall be modified if any infringement is there.
Power Line Crossings upto 33 kV :- The work of underground Power Line Crossings upto 33 kV is divided into two sections for which details are as follows:
1. Harsana Kalan-Manesar Section(Km. 43 to Km. 124) :-
The work of underground Power Line Crossings upto 33 kV in Harsana Kalan-Manesar section is to be done by HRIDC and Supervision charges @1.5% of Sanctioned Estimate of State Electricity Authorities shall be submitted to State Electricity Authorities for supervision. The Tender for this work was opened on 21.10.2020. The work shall commence by 31.12.2020.
2. Manesar-Palwal Section(Km. -2.8 to Km 43):-
The work of underground Power Line Crossings upto 33 kV in Manesar-Palwal section is to be done by HRIDC and Supervision charges @1.5% of Sanctioned Estimate of State Electricity Authorities shall be submitted to State Electricity Authorities for supervision. The Tender for this work is under preparation at HRIDC/Gurugram office and shall be finalized by 11.12.2020.
Power Line Crossings above 33 kV (EHT Crossings) :-
- Priority Section: There are approximate 65 EHT crossings exist in HORC corridor of various agencies i.e. HVPNL, PGCIL etc. Out of 65 EHT crossings 21 crossings exist in Priority Section. The Survey data has been collected departmentally of these 21 EHT crossings of priority section. All these crossings are of HVPNL. HVPNL shall be contacted for Estimate after scrutiny of Survey data.
- The work of Survey of EHT crossings for Harsana Kalan-Palwal section except Priority section has been commenced on22.10.2020 by M/s Avenir Techventures. The survey data of 19 crossings has been submitted to HRIDC/Gurugram office which are under scrutiny. The work of survey for rest of the EHT crossings shall be completed in one month. As per the survey details all the EHT crossings which will infringe HORC in reference to Indian Railways Schedule of Dimensions and ACTM shall be shortlisted and those shortlisted EHT Crossings shall be modified by concerned Electricity Authorities as Deposit work.
Over Head Equipment:-
HORC from Palwal to Sonipat will link New Palwal-Harsana Kalan by new BG line and t will be electrified with 25 kV, Single Phase, 50 Hz, High Rise OHE.
- There are two Traction Sub Stations proposed in this section. The location for new TSS at ChandlaDungerwas has been finalized and a letter for feasibility survey to supply Electricity at this location has been sent to HVPNL.
- General Power Supply arrangement has been prepared and it shall be finalized after the finalization of ESP of the entire section between Sonipat-Palwal.
- Priority Section: Estimate for OHE quantities of Maruti Yard and from Km. 46 to km. 52 including common loop uptoPatli station has been prepared.
- The Estimate of OHE quantities for approx. 120 RKM section is under preparation at HRIDC/Gurugram office.
